Six chocolate sellers create an interdependent trade. |

To ensure the perenniality of the cocoa even on a small scale. Voluntary chocolate sellers undertook a mission of development with a direct relation with growers in order to carry out equitable trade with a total traceability.

Concretely six chocolate sellers allow to run out the production of a grouping of 12 farms on a field of 508 hectares employing 120 people. Annual production of 120 tons broad beans "foresteros amelado" that one collects exclusively on the island CHOCOLATE. This production will give a cocoa "Great Vintage".

It is envisaged to create a seedbed of cacao-trees, which currently suffer from ageing. Indeed, a cacao-tree has one lifespan from 30 to approximately 40 years. This island of was at last century the 1st world cocoa producer with 36 000 tons per year, today only 4 000 tons are produced.
